'An Scoil'
What do we offer?
Managed and supported by County Dublin VEC, our ethos is to provide structured and supported learning opportunities for the young people in Trinity House School, based on their individual learning strengths and needs.
Each pupil is assessed on admission and an Individual Education Profile and Plan is generated. Educational progress reports form a central part of regular reviews and case conferences.
It is our priority that the young people receive expert assistance in improving their literacy and numeracy levels.
We offer our pupils opportunities to learn in a friendly and supportive environment.
Instruction is given in purpose built classrooms where pupils can work with very experienced teachers to learn skills in Woodwork, Metalwork, Art, Craft, Pottery and Home Economics.
Pupils are given instruction in subject areas such as SPHE, CPSE, History and Music which encourages them to learn about their environment and gain valuable skills for life.
Students learn a variety of life skills through taking part in numerous sporting and other activities.
Our courses are nationally accredited either through FETAC or the Junior Certificate.
Further to this other curricula such as the JCSP and the LCA are being introduced.
As part of a multidisciplinary organisation the teaching staff work in collaborative fashion with a wide variety of allied professional to promote the education, care and rehabilitation of our pupils.
